The goal of the 100+ fellow artists friends project is to create links to visual artists worldwide; from Japan and New Zealand, Australia, Asia, Africa, Europe, South-America, the USA and Canada, from Argentina to Alaska and Hawaii, across the globe. The project started in September 2005, and is still going on, with at the moment (September 2007) almost 300 links to a variety of visual artists in more than 25 countries. Painters, abstract and figurative, oil, acrylic and mixed media, graphic designers, digital artists and illustrators. 
Most links have two small images of the work of the artist or a banner and a short description, almost all web sites are multilingual. It started as an invitation with no back link required, but as Page Rank and Link Popularity becomes more and more important, we demand a link back now. People who have placed a link back can also send announcements of important exhibitions, but there’s no guarantee for placement on the News, in the Spotlight or Focus... pages. |
